ASHA Requirement:  Looking for CE hours on the topic of Supervision?

Starting with the certification maintenance interval of 2020-2022, ASHA will require two hours of professional development in the area of supervision which must have been completed at least once in your career after having earned your CCC (not required every interval). There are many types of professional development that can be used to meet this requirement including employer-sponsored workshops, in addition to events that are approved for ASHA CEUs. A large selection of courses for supervision is available on ASHA CE Find.  (Any course listed on CE Find has been provided by an ASHA-approved provider.)

Additional resources: The list below references all of the free courses (as of January, 2019) on the ASHA website, which can be accessed by all certified members. The first course, "Nine Building Blocks of Supervision," offers two hours of CE in supervision and meets the requirement for anyone who wants to supervise students or mentor Clinical Fellows. The second course, “Knowledge, Skills, and Competencies for Supervision,” is located on the same page and offers an additional free hour of continuing education training.
